6 WAYS YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR VAPE KIT

But where should you start? For those who are used to vaping with lower powered vape devices, you might be far more used to a pick up and go attitude when using your e cigarette. Now that you’ve decided to upgrade to a rebuildable mod, you’ll have a lot of opportunities to find the right components and brands to suit your needs. Below are some of the most popular, and diverse aspects of vaping which are entirely upgradeable, especially exciting if you’re looking for new ways to vape.

New tanks

In general, a tank is the 2 ml receptacle in which you pour your vape juice, but it is made of more than just the tank. The tank also includes mesh coils to make your vape hit more satisfying, whilst often including drip tips and atomiser elements. Vape tanks available at Ealing vape shop Restricted Liquid include the powerful Petri Tank from Dotmod, as well as the ever popular Aspire Nautilus.

Upgrade your coil

Coils are well known for being one of the most customisable elements of a vape set up. With many of them catering to specific vaping needs such as temperature control or sub ohming, Restricted Liquid play host to a range of nichrome, kanthal, stainless steel and nickel coils which will suit any of your vaping needs. Coils can also be built yourself to bring a range of effects, including lower resistance sub ohm power and higher resistance, tighter draws.

Upgrade your wicking cotton

Wicking cotton may come with your tank or coil upgrade, but you can always buy your own. With a range of different cottons available, it is up to you to find the most absorbent yet study. And that’s the trick with wicking cotton, the perfect wick is soft and absorbent to take in more e juice, but strong enough to withstand the high temperatures it is exposed to.

Improving your batteries

Most vape devices work with small 18650 batteries. Whilst some work with more than one of these batteries, others only need one installed within it. On top of this, you’ll have a range of chemical charges to choose from in your battery, most vapers opting for 18650 batteries running on ionised lithium. Lastly, when picking your battery upgrade, look at its mAh number. The higher the mAh of your battery, the longer it will last.

Mouthpiece options

Some devices allow you to explore different mouthpiece options to customise your vape. These allow you to vary the coolness and intensity of the vapour your inhaling. Bigger airflows are useful for sub ohm vaping, whilst tighter regulation is better for those who like a kick with their vape hit.

New devices to watch out for

There are plenty of vape devices out there which are customisable and efficient in equal measure. Check out the new devices at Restricted Liquid, including the hefty Aspire Speeder and the flexible Geekvape Aegis.
