Vape Gear And Travelling

Many people attempt to travel with their vape gear, whether that be by plane, train or any other transport. The problem is in keeping your vape device protected.

Vaping overseas is difficult to navigate. Every country has its own laws and systems of use for Vape devices. The reason for this is that the use of e liquid is still a hotly debated topic in many cultures. This means that you’re going to have to check the law per country when it comes to vaping and buying related products there. That is just one of the factors you’ll have to think about when travelling. The other is how to keep your device safe.

Vapes on a plane

Vaping on a plane is often discussed and worried about. First off, some plane companies have been known to supply their own heat not burn devices in flight. The fact remains however, that on board most plane flights, the devices must be turned off. Like electronic devices such as MP3 players and smart phones, you must make sure that your device doesn’t interfere with navigation equipment by turning it off. On top of this, by turning off your device you’ll be ensuring that you’re not tempted to vape on board, which is still against the law.

Vape kits in your luggage

Wherever your travelling, one of the safest places for your vape device are in the luggage you are taking with you. Ensuring that your device is protected within your cargo is vital, especially if travelling by plane. If you don’t take it on board with you then your device will most likely be packed tightly up with the rest of the luggage in the cargo hold. It is here that if not packed correctly, your device could be at risk of being snapped or leaking. This is why it is always wise to keep your vape device packed tightly in a bag or compartment. The tank should be kept empty to avoid any leaks and any e juice bottles should be tightly sealed.

Vaping in airports

Some British airports, such as Edinburgh and Glasgow don’t allow vaping in their airports, whilst others allow them as far as the airport gate. It varies from airport to airport, but it is always best to ask beforehand. In many European airports you can find designated smoking areas within the airport terminals. These smoking areas are also the designated vaping area as well, so make sure that you are aware of these areas as they will no doubt come in handy.

Holidays and vaping

As mentioned before, your travelling with vape devices and equipment is completely up to your discretion unless there are specific laws which state that using such devices is prohibited. In the countries where you can vape, there are plenty of accessories you can invest in which will make keeping track of and protecting your vape devices that little bit easier, complete with e liquid compartments and spare battery packs.
